Happy 3 months old!

We can't even begin to tell you how amazing these last 3 months have been! Mya is our whole world! She is growing and getting more of a personality, it's so fun to watch her. She is the sweetest little girl. I love all these pictures. The last one totally fits how I see her.....just a sweetie! The ones where she is smiling so big remind me of how you look in the pics you just sent us...so happy and free spirited! We hope you know how much we love you and appreciate having the both of you in our lives. We feel like the luckiest people ever.

If I could only eat one thing ever it would be beef jerky,I could live on it. Here I am letting Mya try some jerky and I've never been so proud......she LOVED it!

Mmmmmmm beef jerky! My mom used to feed me jerky when I was teething, I guess the salt did something to make my sore mouth feel better. I have honestly loved jerky since I was about her age!

Mya's new toy. Grandma has one of these and she loves it so we bought one too.

She can already grab the bird and make it sing! She's too smart! It plays sort of an island type music and she likes it!

P.S. - I got her to laugh again tonight! It is honestly the cutest thing ever! She does it at the most random times when we're not even being our funniest! :) She's so cute!

Tiff's first day back to work

October 18 was my first day back at work. Man it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I missed her a lot and I kept looking at the clock thinking oh it's Mya's feeding time or oh I hope she's taking her nap right now. I wasted a lot of time looking at my pictures of her and wishing I was at home. Right before lunch time I got called to the lobby, and there waiting for me was this darling vase of flowers. The card said it was from Nick and Mya and that they missed me. I won't lie it brought tears! I love both of them so much. It was fun to go home for lunch feed her and hold her. She smiled lots which always makes me feel good! When I got home I realized that Mya had been just fine without me. She is such a good baby. I am glad that I really like my job or honestly I could not do this. I can't wait to be able to be home with her all the time. I even missed changing her diapers.....that's something I never thought I'd say! The next day she got to go spend part of the day with Nick's mom. Nick's mom is so cute, Mya was spoiled rotten all day!!! My little sister Britt had her for a couple hours today and did an amazing job. We are so lucky to have so many great family members that love us and Mya so much. Everyone is taking such good care of her it makes me being gone a little easier. Thanks for your text message too, it made me smile!

Okay sorry this post doesn't come with many pics but we had to tell you about this!!! Mya officially laughed for the first time today! I got her to laugh this morning and I called Nick (in tears...I'm serious) it was so dang cute! Then out of nowhere tonight we were talking to her and she started to laugh. It was soooooooooooo cute! I am headed back to work tomorrow for the first time in 12 weeks and I am so sad......I don't ever want to miss any of her firsts! I'll be fine but of course she just had to add one more adorable thing to my list of reasons I NEVER want to leave her! We really need to get a video camera so we can send some videos. :) BTW- thanks for the email and the pictures, you look darling even with those not so cute uniforms. I see so much of Mya in you, it's fun!  We sure love you and can't wait until you get to hear this little girls laugh :)

BTW- My friend made her that little bracelet she is wearing. It has 2 hearts on it and she told me that it has 2 hearts for 2 moms! I thought that was a cute idea :)

Here is Mya when we got home from church today. Lol we thought she looked pretty cute!! This was the first time we took her to our ward for the full block of church. She was great! She mostly slept, and during sacrament she really liked looking at and hearing all the little kids around us! It was fun and I had to laugh at all the people who came up to me and said "wow Tiff you look so good for just having a baby!" I just laugh and explain that we adopted her and then I thank them for telling me I look good! :)  I have been in the young womens for the entire time we've lived in that ward so I don't know a ton of people and I guess word doesn't travel all that fast! Pretty funny.

She loves sleeping all snuggled up in the blankets. All I have to do at nap time is put her blanket in between her arms and she rubs it on her little face until she falls asleep! it is so cute!

She has discovered that she likes to eat her hands now, she tries to put her whole fist in her mouth!
