Time goes by so fast....

Some of the things that she is doing at 4 months:
Laughs a LOT, sometimes she laughs so hard she chokes and can't breathe
Tries really hard to hold her bottle by herself
Recognizes her bottle and gets excited when she sees it
Tries to roll from her back to her tummy...she's getting close
She can follow objects in front of her face
Reaches for and grabs anything in front of her
Kicks her legs and throws her arms all over when she gets excited
Eats a TON...about 7 oz every feeding
Sleeps in every morning until about 9:00 or 9:30
Loves to stand up while holding onto our fingers....she is so dang strong!
Loves to sit up, she can stay up on her own but only for a few seconds.
Recognizes Mom and Dad
Lots and lots of smiles
Does not like to sit still
Makes growling noises
Drools like crazy....teeth may be coming
Puts anything and everything in her mouth
Screams really loud
She really likes it when Nick and I sing to her....especially when we rap "pajama time" or "baby got back", lol it's true we do that!

Nick surprised her by taking this picture, if you can't tell by her giant eyes!
Here she is watching The Sing Off....she was trying to do a little singing herself. Nick and I were laughing so hard!
This may be one of my favorite pictures...she is so cute!
Look at that killer mo-hawk!

These are her new fur boots....we like to call them the dumb and dumber boots! They look so cute on her.
She likes holding Grover when she takes her naps!
She likes playing with her little fish sponge in the bath. Right now she is loving to eat it, she really puts everything in her mouth!
This is Mya in a Princess powered Toyota Land Cruiser car that Brady bought for Paislee. Her birthday is next month and I have a feeling all the kids are going to love driving this thing around, it is awesome!
My little brother Codie was having her dance, she was having so much fun!!
See that drool dripping down her chin, we have to keep a bib on her at all times or she soaks through her clothes!
She is working so hard to hold that bottle on her own.
She likes sitting in the kitchen to watch me cook. She was talking her head off tonight!

Mya's first Thanksgiving....4 months old!

4  months old!
She is getting really good at sitting up and would rather do that than lay down.
Getting ready to go to my Grandma's house for dinner. My whole family was so excited to see her she got passed all over the place. She loves the attention!
Playing the guitar with dad and aunt Ashley!

Welcome baby Cooper!!

Cooper's newborn pics!
Little baby Cooper!
Mya's first time meeting Cooper!
This is right after he came out...look at that cute little cone head!
He has the biggest most full lips....kinda like what we thought Mya might have!
Proud new mommy and daddy! Britt did such a great job!
So happy!!!!!
My first time holding baby Cooper, just minutes after he was born! I love him!!
Baby Cooper decided to come 2 1/2 weeks early!  We were all at my moms on Sunday night for dinner and Britt was having contractions that were anywhere from 3-8 minutes apart and they were bad enough that she couldn't talk while she was having one. My little brother Codie was in charge of taking her blood pressure, when he took it about 7:30 it was well over the limit that the Dr gave her, so they took off to the hospital. I got a call from Britt around 10:00 saying that she was in labor and they would be breaking her water after the doctor delivered another baby! My mom and I went to the hospital at 12:00 but they didn't break her water until 3:00AM. She was able to get her epidural at about 2:30, poor thing she was so scared about that part. They were starting her on pitocin after they broke her water to move things along but the doctor said she wouldn't be able to push for a few hours. My mom and I went home to get some sleep until she could start pushing. The pitocin started making Cooper's heart rate drop a lot so they had to stop it and just let her progress naturally. My mom and I went back to the hospital about 8:00 we got there and about 10 min later she started pushing! She was so awesome through it all, really focused and calm. I was so proud of her!!! She pushed for 18 min and out popped little Cooper. I stood next to her snapping pics and just being totally amazed at what was happening. I can't even believe how cool that experience was. I thought it would be gross but to be honest I wasn't grossed out at all, just in awe! He was 6 lbs 10 oz and 18 inches long. Such a cute little baby. He has fuzzy black hair and dark eyes. He was completely healthy even being early. His hands and feet are giant, they are bigger than Mya's right now, it made us laugh pretty hard to compare them this afternoon. No one believed me when I said they were bigger than Mya's.....ha ha I was right! It was so weird to hold him, I thought Mya was small but it took me back to when she was that little. It's cool to see how far she's come now she loves to smile, laugh and squirms all over the place. We love her so much she is perfect!! Babies are incredible and make it hard not to believe in God and miracles. What an amazing day we had today. I skipped out on work today since I was running on a couple hours of sleep, which if you know me at all you know that's not good! I drank a monster this morning and then when I got home Nick was so nice and let me take a nap. After that we took Mya to see her new partner in crime...she wasn't so interested in him but she loved the lights in the hospital, lol. I know they are going to be great little buddies! The nurse was telling us that they had a couple of adoptions happening today, I could barley hold in the tears. We will never forget the day we walked into McKay Dee Hospital knowing we would be bringing Mya home, I have never experienced a feeling like that in my life. It was very bittersweet knowing that you must be experiencing such deep pain that we can't and won't ever understand. We felt the very deepest sense of gratitude for you and the sacrifice you were making. Thank you so much Amy, we love you!

Reunited!!!

Here she is being feisty and wanting some food. Glad you got to see her diva side!
Can't even imagine how it must have felt to see her and hold her again. It was really fun to see your face light up when you saw Mya.
You two look darling, so much love!
Check out the difference in your skin tones....this baby looks so white!
You are too cute in this picture!
No words to describe how awesome it felt to see you! Our families fell in love with you just like we did :)
We had so much fun being able to chat with you the other night. We have been looking forward to that for a long time. You look great and sound like you are kicking some major booty in school. Is it cheesy to say we are so proud of you? Oh well we really are, you amaze us! I hope you were able to feel the love that our families have for you and Mya. Sorry that you got lost....lol so something that would happen to me. Thank you again for taking the time to come and meet our families. We know that you are so busy being back and it meant a lot to us. We are really proud of Mya and it was fun to be able to show you how much she has grown and changed. She is literally the light if our lives, we love this little monkey!!!!! Glad you got to see her smile and hear her cute laugh too. She is such a happy sweet baby. We hope that you know we're here for you if you need anything. Have a great relaxing Thanksgiving vacation. We love you!!!

Loves eating her toes.....gross but so cute!

She is feeling so much better. All of us have cycled through a nasty cold the last week and a half. She was looking and feeling so much better today and we are very happy. It is really sad to have her sick. With this cold weather I guess it's almost impossible to avoid it. It snowed a lot on Saturday but none of it stuck at least not here in Utah County.
Look at this cute purple binky! We lost it and finally found it under the couch yesterday.
Talk, talk talk that's all she wants to do!
Louie all of a sudden really likes her. Today he sat and licked her head and cheeks for a long time and she just smiles and loves to watch him. We are glad he's finally warming up to her.
Daddy is the one that introduced her to how much fun her toes are to eat. She thought he was pretty funny!
Here she is eating her monkey toes and loving every minute! LOL this was soooo funny!

This is a new rug we just got for her room...she looks so cute on it!

We are not used to all this blue! BOY, BOY, BOY!!!!

We had a family shower for Britt at my Grandma's house in South Jordan on Sat. Here is the gift me and Mya made for baby Cooper! Mya has the girl version of that puppy and some Minnie Mouse PJ's that match Cooper's Mickey ones! They will be so cute together! Mya LOVES her Aunt Brittney!
Here's my mom, my cousin Paige & little Gavin. Gavin LOVES Mya, except for she growled at him and made him cry! It was so funny. Nick was proud, he told her that's what she has to do to boys until she's 30! Dad's are so protective of their little girls!
Cute Britt, she loved the gift from us!
My mom would never let go of her if we let her. Mya is so good at making everyone fall in love with her right away! Nick came to the shower at the end and got some big smiles from Mya. She loves her daddy!
My whole extended family is so in love with her. They were all amazed at how good and beautiful she is. She got lots of love! This is my uncle Scott holding her and my grandpa feeding her some cupcake frosting...which she really loves! We have the greatest families, I love them all so much!
I thought you might want to see Britt's belly now....how gorgeous is she! She is getting to the point where you can see her belly move when he moves it is SO crazy. It reminds me of what you would tell us about Mya kicking your cell off of your belly! I even think she could rest her cereal bowl on there now.
After the shower we went to Nick's parents house and had dinner for his mom's birthday! Mya looked so cute I wish I would have taken the blanket off when I snapped this picture. My mom bought her the cutest little boots, they are white with fur on them...so darling. She had a long day of being LOVED by a lot of people!
